Lee is a British horror and dark-fantasy author known for precision, atmosphere, and emotional intensity. A love hostage living in Stockholm, Sweden.

A former film critic, an award-winning short film screenwriter and filmmaker by night and instructional designer and media producer by day, he is mostly drawn to the dark horror, fantasy, sci fi and action genres. He is working on his first novel and assembling a collection of his short fiction. 

His short fiction has appeared in various horror anthologies and collections, since “White on White: A literary Tribute to Bauhaus”, and “The Hand of Doom: A Literary Tribute to Black Sabbath” As well as being published in the “They Whispered” anthology of short horror stories, by Comma Press and both the “Twisted 50 VOL III” and VOL IV anthologies, and “Flash of the Dead: Space”, published by Wicked Shadow Press. He is honoured to have had his work published alongside that of his literary heroes Clive Barker, Poppy Z Brite, and William Burroughs.

Two of his short films, “Mr Clean” and “Comfort Him” competed against films with 7 times the crew and available budgets. Both films won multiple awards both in the Best Film category, as well as for Cinematography, Sound Design and Special Effects. And were later distributed on DVD on the Grindsploitation 9 and 60 Seconds to Live compilations, and distributed on Troma TV. His other film scripts, “Imprint”, “Gas!” and “Sepulture” placed highly in some very well-known script competitions and picked up awards at genre festivals.

Five of his short horror film scripts were produced by 3R Entertainment and DRTV productions, including “Blood Mist”, “Lovely to Meet you”, “No Tell”, “Sven Gunnar” and “Don’t Forget to Breathe.”  Winning Best Film and Best Proof of Concept awards. Don’t Forget to Breathe played across Latin America on cable TV, as well as resulting in an award recognising our contribution to society, by the council of Hospitalet de llobregat, Spain, for highlighting an epidemic of domestic abuse and showing how we need to end it.

His poem “Rolling to standing” appeared in the poetry anthology BROAD DAYLIGHT, curated by Fin Hall.

He has produced 17 abstract music videos for the band MEIPR, Subverge and solo artist Henrik Meierkord, and are regularly used as background visuals at MEIPR live concerts (visit the YouTube page for more info). 

His film reviews appeared in The Rumour machine (now defunct), Unrated Magazine, Hackers’ Source Magazine and in Black Diadem Magazine, ‘White on White: A Literary Tribute to Bauhaus’ and ‘Moondust Will Cover You: A Literary Tribute to David Bowie’ anthologies for Nocturnicorn Books.
